Sandy Leung

Voice Teacher

Sandy Leung studied at the Royal College of Music and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and has sung major roles including Anna in Puccini’s Le Villi, Lucy in Menotti’s The Telephone, Mařenka in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, Adina in Donizetti’s L'elisir d’amore, Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Tiny in Britten's Paul Bunyan during her school years.

 

She is now active in Hong Kong’s vocal scene and in education. She has performed with the Brussels Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the City Chamber Orchestra, the Bach Choir, Musica Viva and Opera Hong Kong. Her opera roles include Celestial Voice in Verdi's Don Carlo, Giannetta in Donizetti's L’elisir d’amore, Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata and Mimi in Puccini's La Boheme.
