Hong Kong Born Soprano Colette Wing Wing Lam has appeared as Marie in La fille du regiment, Gilda in Rigoletto, Violetta in La traviata, Juliet in Romeo et Juliet, Norina in Don pasquale, Frasquita in Carmen, Papagena (cover Pamina) in Die Zauberflöte in Zeist, Netherlands and in Hong Kong, Amina in La sonnambula (Brent Opera) in London and Rosina in Il barbiere di siviglia (Opera Lyrica) in Oxford. Her major concert credits include Mahler's Symphony No.2 in Colston Hall, Bristol, Shostakovich's 7 Romances on Verses by Alexander Blok in RAM, London, Schnittke's Requiem and Bach Cantata No.139 in Macau, Schumann's Dichterliebe in Taipei, Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Orff's Carmina Burana with Hong Kong Bach Choir, soloist in New Year Concert Tour with Kent Sinfonia, U.K. Colette has also début numerous new compositions in Sadler's Wells Theatre and Westminster Abbey, London, also in Zeist, Netherland, Macau and Hong Kong. 

 

Colette Lam obtained her BMus (Hons) at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with Michael Rippon Memorial Scholarship. Upon completion of the Master of Music in Voice (Prep-opera Course) and Dissertation at the Royal Academy of Music, London on a full scholarship by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund, she obtained another Master Degree in Advanced Vocal Studies (Opera) with Distinction at Wales International Academy of Voice, Cardiff on the Li Po Chun Professional training and Postgraduate Scholarship.
